Responsibilities:
  • To be the Tech focal point in area of material especially Polymer technology and it’s applications
  • To evaluate material properties, material process ability for specific project needs
  • To propose alternative materials for new solutions
  • To collaborate with resin suppliers or institution on new compound solutions
  • To advise design team on the right material to use
  • Work together with Design & Operations team on process technology
  • Review the Mold Flow Analysis
  • Any other duties as and when assigned

Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives

Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Chemical/Polymer Technology/Material Science
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge in material properties and behavior for implementation to process or product application in a project
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Understand injection molding process
  • Good exposure on plastic additive and filers
  • Knowledge of industrial testing standards like ISO, ASTM and UL test protocol
  • Hands on experience in molding industry
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
